Know of its prosperous culture and traditions, Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state of India. The official language of Uttar Pradesh is Hindi following the Uttar Pradesh Official Language Act of 1951. In 1989 according to the act of amendment, Urdu was added as an additional language of the State.
